GenCyber Camp
The Cybersecurity Education, Research and Outreach Center at Tennessee Tech University, in collaboration with the Center for Infrastructure Assurance & Security at the University of Texas at San Antonio, will conduct a GenCyber Day on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, for invited area high school students. Participating students will be introduced to cybersecurity concepts and career opportunities. Activities will include plugged and unplugged cyber exercises and a cybersecurity professional panel. NATIONAL CYBER SIGNING DAY
This year’s National Cyber Signing Day will be a live celebration that will take place during the NICE K12 Cybersecurity Education Conference in San Antonio, Texas on December 9, 2024. The event will showcase K12 students and recent graduates who have recently participated in, or will soon be participating in cybersecurity related internships, apprenticeships, trainings and certifications. In sports announcer style, an emcee will introduce the students, highlight their achievements, community involvement, and academic stats accompanied by sports-player style graphics and music. The students will answer interview questions and talk about their experiences.
